Personal Statement
I am Eleni Kalisperis and I have been rowing since freshman year of high school! I am very grateful to be on my high school rowing team because it has taught me many lessons and has helped me improve as a student athlete. It has taught me the importance of team work and how vital it is to work together. Rowing has helped me with time management when balancing the expectations of my schoolwork, my team practices, and enjoying time with my friends. These are valuable life lessons that I hope will help me excel as a collegiate student athlete. I am looking forward to continuing my rowing career in college because I enjoy this sport, and appreciate the physical and mental strength rowing is teaching me.
