Hello my name is Grace Plechner , I am an 5’11 , 165 pound setter at my school Archbishop John Carroll and my club team, Synergy 17s Uranium. My ultimate goal is to play volleyball at the collegiate level while pursuing a degree in sports management or athletic training.
I was first introduced to volleyball in 4th grade as a practice player for my grade school. After completely falling in love with the sport I continued playing CYO, along with starting my first club season in 6th grade. Ever since that moment I’ve dedicated myself to this sport. In the last 2 years I have decided to switch to setting after being an opposite my whole life. I am a hard-working and determined player, while also being supportive and encouraging towards my teammates. I believe that the strength of the team and how they work together is what makes them successful.
I am confident that I would represent any college volleyball program with distinction when given the opportunity. I know that I would be a great asset to your team. I demonstrate exceptional character and leadership skills both on and off the court. I continually apply the critiques and corrections that coaches give me to improve myself and help my team succeed. I look forward to playing volleyball at the Collegiate level and can't wait to find out which school that will be!
