I'm a homeschooled student totally devoted to school, rowing, and making the world a better place. Winning a national title is one of my goals in college rowing, but learning from my teammates and coaching staff how to be a better rower and person is one of my aspirations in life. Academically I aim to be at the top 5 of my class. My main goal is giving all I have rowing and school related to the program that wants my talent and having my teammates back at all times. I can guarantee that the program that picks me will receive complete sportsmanship, devotion, determination, and leadership from my side. Winning is great but having an amazing relationship with my crew and the determination to be bigger, better, and stronger every day is my goal. The hardest competition I have is myself and with my determination to be the best I can be, I'm 100 percent sure I will come out on top. My athletic journey has been a rocky road, I had my mind set in college soccer when the unexpected happened and ended my career. Even with a career ending injury I found rowing and put my mind into building myself to be mentally and physically strong. This has led me to in a short amount of time achieving what takes some rowers years in months. Rowing to me is the most painful, exhausting, and sacrificed sport there is, but all the pain and sacrifice pays off when you hear the final horn and see that you've achieved your goal. Making my family proud and rowing are what I live to do.
