Lillian Copeland '23 Recruiting Profile

I have been rowing since the 7th grade, meaning that this fall I will start on my 6th year of rowing. In college, I wish to continue my rowing career on a team that has a competitive drive with goals to reach. Personally, I drive for my goals at every practice and communicate that with my coaches and my teammates.  I am a capable rower and teammate, I have helped teach novices as well as lead varsity members throughout practices. I am different from other rowers because I have a desire to learn from my coaches in every way possible while moving forward with my goals athletically and academically.  In school I have interacted with my teachers to better understand the material. I have opted to take a majority of my classes as DE and honors to challenge myself. I look forward to keeping that attitude and challenging myself in college.
