I am a motivated, competitive athlete. On my current team, I hope that my motivation to do so well, and push myself physically inspires the newer additions to the team to do as well as they can too. On my team, we do this thing called Sister Bags, where varsity women rowers randomly select novice women rowers, and with the person we pick, we workout with them at practice, and motivate them at regattas, and hopefully make their transition onto the team easier. I think it's a great idea because you can make a new friend this way, and also become better athletes together. I enjoy seeing people succeed.
School can be really stressful, most of the time. I try and balance school work and crew as best as I can, but it can get really difficult, but I've somehow managed to maintain good grades. I know school is the main priority, my health is the second, and crew is the third priority, but I try my hardest to make sure they're all at the top.
Btw, in the video I shared, I am 5 seat.
