Isabella Santavicca '19 Recruiting Profile

    I am a fierce competitor and I strive to always be at the top of my game. I believe that determination makes me stand out from the crowd. I have an undying passion for soccer, which drives me to learn and master new techniques.  I have the mindset to see this beautiful game for what it is;  a masterpiece of hard work!  My goal is to play at the highest level of competitive soccer and I plan to take every necessary steps to get there.  In the words of one of my favorite legends, "Success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice, and most of all, love of what you're doing -Pele."  Academically I excel most in a competitive advanced environment where I have to work and be continuously challenged.  I have a 4.0 GPA and drive to raise the percentage even higher by taking more AP courses and give myself even more of a challenge.

    I am a team player and I have great field vision. I have played many positions, which gives me the ability to anticipate and find set plays. I strongly believe in the idea of putting in work to get a better outcome. This transfers over to when I play; I work hard to cover positions and attack strong. I am technically inclined to get the goal, which requires athleticism and stamina.  One of the things that make me different from most players is that I am equally strong and accurate with both my left and right feet, this gives me the ability to play in every position or at any angle and still get a good clean outcome.  Soccer is a big part of my life and has been for as long as I can remember. That’s best put by my favorite player of all-time, "I learned all about my life with the ball at my feet -Ronaldinho"
