I have played soccer since I was four years old. I grew up playing defense and have continued running the defense, during both club and high school seasons, on the wings and from sweeper. My main position is sweeper, which I have worked with my club and high school coaches tirelessly to solidify my understanding and confidence in my position. I also have a great understanding of all other positions on the field, though I can still use some expertise. I am an absolute team player, but I am also a leader and excel at leading the defense. I am very verbal on the field, and I feel that excellent communication is a major key in being a successful team.I am well known to never give up on a play and work diligently both on and off the field, with my academics being an essential part of the equation. I have been told I am a very coach-able player and am always open to tips and guidance. I aspire to be the best individual I can possibly be and by playing on your team I can do just that. I am currently playing at Southwestern Oregon Community College. During my first season I was captain and starting sweeper. I was elected to play in the NWAACC Southern Section All-Star game in Washington this last November. I am currently training for our second season, starting in August. I have an overall GPA of 3.1 and will have a minor in psychology when I graduate from SWOCC and will be set on a path to continue studying Sports Medicine.
