As a student-athlete, high level academics and soccer are both extremely important to me. All my life, I have put school and soccer above all. I am always looking to maintain good grades, and perform to the best of my abilities in soccer. In terms of my academics, I have never scored below a 4.0 GPA, and I am very adamant to keep it that way. I am also placed in GATE, honors, and AP classes this year. Career-wise, I hope to pursue a career in athletic medicine. In terms of soccer, I am flexible to play wherever, but I am strongest in any of the three forward positions, or attacking center-mid. I play on a GA team in Los Angeles, known as L.A. Surf, and a local ECRL team here in Bakersfield. I practice soccer 3-4 days a week, and I have 1-2 days of strength training as well. I have also participated in high school soccer. As a freshman, I made varsity, and at the end of the season I received 1st team all-league. With that said, soccer is extremely important to me, and I'm looking to keep challenging myself to get better as time goes on.
For college, I hope to maintain a high level education, and a high level of soccer. Personally, I like to be challenged in both of these categories. I am not one to settle when I know it's not my best. In addition, I am open to moving away from home for college, however if there is a better fit for me in state, then I am happy to stay in California. Since I am interested in athletic medicine, I would like to attend a school with a prominent reputation in that field. For soccer, I feel as if I would fit best at the DI or DII level.
