Gabriella (Ella) Mendoza '22 Recruiting Profile

I am Gabriella Mendoza but I prefer to go by Ella. My parents and friends describe my personality as friendly, persistent, generous, kind hearted, and tenacious. I work hard in school, at home and on the field. Everyday I try to become a better person whether it is holding the door open for one more person or apologizing to a friend for possibly hurting their feelings. On the field I tend to be more selfless than selfish which doesn't always serve the final score and team. This is an area of growth for me because sometimes I look to pass instead of shoot; however, I am determined to find a balance to further support myself and my team. Soccer has given me life long friendships, courage, team skills and so much more. I hope that I will have the chance to continue this beautiful chunk of my life and add onto the meaningful memories. I know that with this comes devotion and strength and that I will have to grow everyday as a player and as a student. But I am well-prepared and ready to give it all I've got.
