Since I was 5 years old, I always loved to dance and play soccer. I eventually loved being a little ballerina more than I loved to play soccer and as 3 years passed by, I returned to the sport I love most in the world. My mom had told me to be more outgoing when it came to coming out of my comfort zone and to try out for a club team. I lacked confidence ever since I was 15 because the girls on my team knew way more than me and made me think why I had been chosen to play with them. What did coaches see in me that at the time I couldn't see? I began to focus on that aspect and trained hard in 2020. I wanted to be better for myself and my team. I began watching more matches, running daily, and began working out to improve my ability on the field. After my fitness level improved, I began training alone wether that was hopping over the highest fence for the flattest grass field or going to the mushy field at the nearest elementary school to work on ball mastery, juggles, power and placement, etc. I always enjoyed pushing myself and heart rate to another level. It was always an excitement to get out there and play with a sphere. Not only do I work hard but I also work hard in making my team feel like a family because I know how it feels to be the player that was left out. I love to make people around me laugh and to feel no negative emotion about themselves. Moving out of high school, I aspire to be in a junior college and transfer out to a 4 year. I aspire for coaches who select me to never keep me on a comfortable level and to go beyond that, and if I didn't meet their standards, to take the patience to work on me and create a successful player. I love academics when there are teachers who really engage their students in lectures. I found fascination in the medical field after a semester of biology and a load of Grey's Anatomy. Procrastination is an easy thing for me to fight and I always strive for good grades. I look forward to attending medical school and becoming a cardiothoracic surgeon and highly suggest schools that will teach me everything I need to know in order to accomplish my life goal. Lastly, I want the next four years of my life to be a new beginning to reach my full potential.
