Brooke Sheriff '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Brooke Sheriff and I want to play soccer in college. I am a very hard-working, caring, and self-driven person with many goals and passions. Not only do I want to make myself proud and do what's best for each situation, I want to make everyone else around me proud with our accomplishments as a team.

I have many goals and want to complete all of them in my lifetime. As for my collegiate goals, I want to play soccer, and no matter the amount of time and effort I put into my sport, I will continue to make time for my academics and excel in the classroom. Other than soccer, I am willing to open my eyes to many new ideas that come my way including meeting new people and experiencing new things. My parents have told me that even with my love of soccer, at some point, soccer will be over and I need to have a good education that will allow me to be successful in the future as well.

As for my aspirations, I have always wanted to start a career in which sports are primary. I know it requires hard work and dedication and I am willing to pour my heart into something I enjoy learning and pursuing in my lifetime. Although I know it will take time out of my day, which means I will have to prioritize my schedule, I want to eventually have a career that I love because it is extremely important to me.

 I believe I am a very good candidate for a team, because whenever an obstacle gets in my way, I face it no matter the difficulty, go at it with my heart and head, and do my very best. I will always work very hard for what I want or need and do not expect anything handed to me easily. I am a very friendly person that accepts others with open arms, I am a very competitive, and always want to excel in everything I do. This is why I believe I can stand on my own on any team that takes a chance on me.
