Hello! I am Dominique Mihaljevic. I come from a very athletic & competitive family. My father, Joe Mihaljevic, is an acclaimed former professional soccer player in the U.S. and 1992 U.S. Open MVP. My mother, Lynette, was a formidable athlete in high school who played volleyball, basketball & ran track (sprints, hurdles, relays), as well as discus & shot put. My grandfather, Djuro (George), played soccer professionally in Europe and was the 1st Head Coach for the St Louis Stars in the 1960s. He owned and operated the 1st incorporated soccer school, Mihaljevic Soccer School, in St Louis & the U.S. I am professionally trained in soccer since the age of 6. I "know" soccer to a point where I don't have to think. I've been so highly trained, my soccer skills are instinctual. I am highly competitive. I play to win. I am an aggressive player and not afraid to take on an opponent. I am continuously one of the top strikers of every team I've played for, if not the "Leading Goal Scorer." I "go to goal" , but I am also a great passer. I am confident in my dribbling skills, I know how to use my body and I have speed. My father has taught me to be an "All-Around" player, though I admit Goal-keeping is not my specialty :). [...to be continued........]
