I have been playing soccer since I was five years old and club level soccer since I was eight. I have played both on the field and as a goalkeeper but goalkeeping is my passion. I have experience playing ODP, NPL and Girls Academy level soccer. I won a regional Keeper Wars competition and competed in Nationals. I was selected to play on the Central Section All-Star high school team last season.
I was nicknamed "Elasta-Girl" by my JV high school coach, who called me the "super hero" of the team because of all of the saves I made. I earned the MVP award as a freshman. I am especially good at ball distribution and I am extremely accurate. My ball distribution skills, especially my powerful throws, are what helped me win the Keeper Wars tournament.
Athletically, I respond best to coaches who use positive reinforcement and treat their players with respect. I would love a soccer team that is more like a family than a group of individual players. I am very coachable and respond well to constructive correction. I am also confident in the box and will give my all in a game up until the last second of play, even if my team is down with no chance of winning. I learn from my mistakes and think about them after the game is over rather than let them fluster me while the game is still ongoing. Additionally, I believe there aren't enough female coaches in soccer and I would love to coach someday.
I am a multiple-sport athlete and pre-covid, I was a varsity high jumper and hurdler on my school's track and field team. I made it to the area championships in the high jump my freshman year. In the classroom, I study hard and maintain excellent grades while taking very challenging classes.
I want to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom and on the field. I am open to all levels and want to ultimately find the right college match both academically and athletically.
