I am Alex McKean, a 5’5 outside back from Hanford, CA. I started on the Sierra Pacific High School varsity soccer team as a freshman. My sophomore through my junior year I have continued as a starter and the team where we have been league champions for those past three years. This year I was named to the First Team All League roster. I play club soccer for California Odyssey at the NPL level in the NorCal league. I have been taking honors class and have 3 AP classes this year. I am always looking for opportunities to improve myself on and off the field. Through trainings, practice, student leadership, volunteering in my community, and pushing myself academically I strive to be my best on and off the field.
I want to play soccer in college because I love the game and the challenge of playing at the high collegiate level. I want to continue challenging my self. I am looking for a school that has a great learning environment for me. I want to be able to give 100% of my efforts to both soccer and academics. I believe I would fit best at the DI, DII, DIII or NAIA level. I recently attended an EXACT ID camp where I received college coach feedback that demonstrates my skill level and inspires me to keep growing my soccer abilities.
