Isabella de la Borda '25 Recruiting Profile

Hello coaches,

My name is Isabella de la Borda and I am a junior at Beckman High School in Irvine, California. I have been playing soccer since I was five and ever since I stepped foot on that field, I knew that the sport would be a big part of my life. My dream has always been to play at a collegiate level. I was co-captain on my freshman soccer team in high school. I have also had a starting position both freshman and sophomore year as a center back, where we won first place in league both years. I currently play for Pateadores FC and my main position is center back however I have experience in other positions such as forward and defensive midfield. I strive to work hard and help my team to the best of my abilities to lead my teammates and I to success. I have a strong work ethic and I put in my 110% in for every practice and game. I am determined to grow as a player on the field as well as a student. My coaches and teachers have recognized me as a natural leader as well as cooperative and versatile. These traits have helped me become a well rounded player on the field. I am very passionate about soccer and I look forward to playing the game I love in college.
