Samantha OBrien '12 Recruiting Profile

Throughout my soccer career, I have played for many coaches and teams from high school (3 years varsity) to travel/club (for the last 6 years). With these invaluable experiences, I've learned discipline, grown as a player & person, learned how to compete at a high level, and learned different ways to play. I am fierce competitor who never quits and anticipates the game. I am a solid 5'8" and weight 150lbs. My desire is to go as far as I can in college with soccer. Along with soccer my interests include animals, the ocean & marine biology. I want to someday help animals and people in some way. I also enjoy mentoring younger kids in soccer and helping them accomplish goals they want to achieve. Personally I have a lot of heart for others and especially my family. I know I can go to them for anything and I model myself after them and our love for each other. Because of this relationship, I would like to stay within California but am willing to look at other options. As I see myself in college, I see a person growing, learning, helping and achieving. I am and will continue to be a leader and will always help others accomplish their goals. As for myself, I know I can accomplish the goals set for any college team.
