I am a Senior attending Campolindo High School in Moraga, Ca. I have been a three sport Varsity athlete and over the last several years have found that Soccer and specifically being a Goalkeeper is my passion. I have been recruited for both Softball and Basketball but Soccer is my calling. I must also say that I have continued to play all sports and only in the last 6 months have focused on working out to be the best Goalkeeper I can be. I am a work out nut, I just do not feel right unless I get some physical activity in every day. I have been a key player on our State Championship Basketball team making All League. And at the same time I would go out to college ID camps and perform at an extremely high level never letting on that I had not touched a soccer ball in months. I did not put in the effort to reach out to coaches constantly until the last month. I have been told that has hurt me as a 2018 Goalkeeper recruit but I feel it also makes me a steal for the school I decide to attend! My parents wanted me to take my time in deciding where to go while many of my friends would make rash decisions just to say they received a scholarship, That is not me.
I feel my strengths as a goalkeeper include strong communication skills, a high level hand eye coordination, I understand angles and have strong positioning, shot blocking, and lead by example. I bring a great attitude, smart aggressive play with determination and purpose. I believe in being a Loyal, great teammate, a positive person, and I help keep my teammates out of the drama. When you talk to my coaches they will confirm the above and more. I am proud to say I have never had a concussion or major injury in sports and I have played year around since I was in kindergarten!
I am the oldest of 3 children, I have one brother and one sister. My Dad calls me an old soul (but I don't see it!). We were lucky to have my mother stay at home and raise us. She is an incredible woman and has been a huge influence on my life. My Dad has been a firefighter for 25 years and is currently the Fire Chief for San Ramon Valley Fire. He is a very loving but demanding father. He expects no excuses and a high level of humility. I learned from him that life is and should be about something much bigger than yourself. My brother is the baby at 9 years old and my sister is 15.
I hope this gives you a great view of me. I have added links below showing a highlight video and website I recently created.
