As someone who has been playing soccer since I was four years old, I have always known that playing collegiate soccer was my dream. Every time I step on the field I know that nothing else matters except the game, soccer is my escape and my comfort. I know that playing in college would be a dream come true and what I have been working and aspiring for my whole athletic career.
As a player I have strong soccer IQ and ball handling skills. I work on and off the ball and use my pace to break the backline. I am strong on the ball and work hard to get my ball back. I am smart with my tackles and understand the body movement of opposing players. Being part of a close-knit team is the most important thing for me. I am a leader on and off the field and make being close with my teammates a priority. From a coaching standpoint I am very coachable and pick things up quickly. I work very well with stern coaching and appreciate when coaches are very straightforward with me. When it comes to training I always play as I would In a game and implement my coaching and training into my game. I strive to have one of the hardest work ethic and mentality in a player and to be one of the most impressionable recruit you'll find.
Throughout the school year I play varsity flag football, varsity track, and so far 3-year varsity soccer athlete. I also work hard in the weight room to build muscle and prevent injuries. Alongside these sports I play club soccer for SoCal Blues ECNL-RL. I have been named MVP in multiple matches and tournaments such as the NPL Regional Finals. Growing up I have played on a competitive team since the age of 8 starting with Slammers FC. In 2019 I realized that I wasn't the confident player I had aspired to be and decided to try AYSO for a year. During this year I found myself building a sense of confidence on the ball I had never experienced before. Being able to take on players with low risk in different environments was just what I needed to grow as a player. After that year I tried out for club soccer again and became one of the top goal scorers on my team. Throughout that year I also noticed how important soccer was to me and how I knew I wanted to play collegiately.
In the classroom, I work hard to maintain my GPA and take multiple AP Classes. I am in a 4-year engineering program with certificates in software programs and intern opportunities at local community colleges. I am also heavily involved in the community and am apart of my schools ASB. I also volunteer coaching my High school's middle-school girls soccer team.
I want to attend college because I want to further push myself on a competitive soccer pitch and in my academic/professional development. I am open to all locations and options to find and compete at the highest level of competition. I am excited to attend college and play soccer at the colligate level and make my parents proud with the opportunities I am blessed to have. Thank you!
My NCAA ID # is 2309117160
