My name is Madeline Silvana Rosen but please call me Maddie! I was born outside Washington DC and raised in Southern California; my heritage is both Russian and Latina, as my mother was raised in Venezuela. I want to play college soccer.
I love the game; it's been my passion and pride since I was six. My teammates are my family and my coaches have been some of the most important adults for me, after my parents and family. Games, practice and fitness are my opportunities to give everything I have, and strive to be great. I'm thankful to have soccer in my life. I want to continue.
I love for my teams to win, but I know effort is what comes first. I still have alot to learn. I train hard. My coaches have always said I give 100% in every game, and that I'm "easy to coach". I'm proud of that.
I started Club in keeper at age 7 and moved to defender. My coaches often start me as center or right back, since I know the position very well and all ex-keepers are vocal. I end up playing 50% or more as right or center mid because I'm fast, and an impact player on offense who will cover D well.
