Leilla Anthony '26 Recruiting Profile

My name is Leilla Anthony and I am a defender and CDM for my team, AC Marin. I am also an art student at Novato high school.  In my soccer career I have always been told how good I am and always been praised for my speed, durability, my will power,  and my abilities as a player and my characteristics as a person. I have been told not just in soccer but by many other people that I am the life of the party and it would not be the same without me. I have also been told by many soccer coaches that i bring the team together and I am a leader. In my art career people have always loved my work and my creativity. My teachers always love to see my work and enjoy having me in their class. Soccer has always been a passion of mine. Ever since I was four I have never stopped loving it. I love the ticks. the game, the skills, the work out, pretty much all of it I enjoy. Soccer has always been a thing for me to connect with people and my self on. I feel happy while playing and really myself. Art is another big passion of mine. I have been drawing since the day I learned how to use a pencil. It has always been something I enjoy doing weather I do it for fun, for a class, or I am making something for someone else. Art is a big way I can express my self clearly and unclearly and has always help take my mind of things and really open up.  I want to go to collage for not only the experience and job opportunities but for the chance to keep doing the things I love.  collage will also help me find out more about myself as a person and help me to decide what I want to achieve and do in life. A big thing is to be an art teacher while also continue doing soccer to go pro.  being an art teacher is what I am really striving for as my job. I really enjoy working with younger kids and i am good with people. I want to help kid express them selves and share my passion for art.
