Personal Statement

Soccer has always been a huge part of my life and continues to be even to this day.  I have been playing soccer since I was 7 years old but it wasn't until middle school that I began to take soccer seriously. In middle school, I joined my first club team and that is really where it all began for me.  Club teams were really when my skills were tested. I was pushed harder than I ever had in my journey in soccer because rec leagues were nothing compared to club. I worked hard every day and even on my own to become a better player.  It wasn't until I got cut from the number one team in my town that my dedication to improving myself started to show. I never wanted that feeling to ever happen again so I would wake up very early in the morning and it would be just me and my ball at work. Dribbling, juggling, conditioning and so many more ways of improving myself happened so early in the morning and then after school and practice, I would do the same things again, working to make sure I never felt the feeling of being cut from a team again.

What you should know about me is that I am one of the hardest working players on the field. I know I always have room for improvement and that always motivates me to work even harder. If I was beaten to a threw ball, the next day I would work on sprinting until my legs felt like jello. I've always been known as an aggressive hard worker of a player. I also never ever give up on anything. There have always been tough times in my life and especially in soccer, but I never give up on a single play or in a single game. I've worked too hard in my life to give up on soccer, no matter how late I am in the recruiting process and that's what makes me stand out from the rest.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
