G’day guys. My name is Sophie piper and I have moved to the United States from Brisbane, Australia in 2018. Adjusting to new environments is something that I’m very good at. I tore my ACL and Meniscus in March 2021 and had surgery in May. Right now I will not be able to play for 12 months at least. This has been a setback but its only motivated me to work harder and strive even harder for my goals. This whole experience has changed my outlook on how much I appreciate my sport and how much I want to play again.
I am a very passionate person and very positive. I can take criticism well and I like being coached. However, I’m also independent when it comes to looking after my body and mind. I’m dedicated to becoming the best version of myself. Along the way of playing college sports, I want to peruse the field of medicine. i plan on attending med school also along the track. I have played soccer since I was 9 years old but I had played MANY sports before then. Professional soccer players run deep in my family and I aspire to be the first female athlete in my family to play in college. I want to make my family and myself proud and I have proven that by dedicating countless hours to my passion.
