Alexis Ungar '21 Recruiting Profile

Traveling to China has been one of the biggest highlights of my athletic career, I was able to compete in tournaments in an international setting.The trip exposed me to rare opportunities not everyone has the chance to experience. Being able to play with and against World Cup Finalists has definitely impacted me as a player, I was given different chances to learn from their life experiences. I started to look at the sport in different ways.  

At a young age I grew a love for the sport, and I continue sharing my passion by coaching young kids at a clinic. I take part playing in club and high school soccer. I play goalie or any defensive position, playing a team sport encourages commitment and teamwork. I’ve learned that it will take more then just skill but strategy and a positive mindset to compete at a college level. As a junior, I have big goals to go to a college which will provide me with a good balance between academics and athletics. I have the experience and intelligence to be an essential player and student, fit for any program.
