My shyness as a little girl has heavily influenced who I am today. I have learned from my past and grown form my experiences. I now can finally say I have friends and that I can speak to my peers without any fear. I was extremely shy in elementary school which led me to seclusion, but I looked to soccer for an escape. Ever since I could remember, I was always playing soccer. I joined AYSO at the age of 4 and baseball at the age of 3. My family always loved sports so we all played. My dad was the coach so I could play they position I wanted to play. He helped me confront my shyness by making me talk to my teammates even when I didn't want to talk. Now I can speak to my teammates about anything. Overcoming my shyness, which held me back a for a long time, lead me to the person who I am today and I wouldn't change a thing. My shyness hindered me but my growth since middle school allowed me to grew out of my shell and have amazing friends.
A life lesson I learned form soccer is that it takes time and a ton of hard work to be the best you can be.
My high school academic goals are to be the top student in my grade and get all A’s. My goal in college is to be involved with college life but also having majority A’s.
Some interesting facts about me is that I can memorize things really quickly and easily. I also am excellent with computers and their software. A surprising fact I always like to tell is that I am ambidextrous. What I mean by that is that I can throw with my left hand but write with my right hand, however it varies to different tasks.
