Would love to play college soccer and get a quality education. Would like to be in an atmosphere that supports my ethics and standards.
I am a very hard worker on the pitch as well as in the classroom. I try to not be out worked by anybody (opposition or otherwise) but not let that interfere with the goal of the team winning. Coaches have said that I am unselfish to a fault.
Unfortunately, my junior and sophmore high school years had been plagued by 3 three surgeries resulting from a bad collision, tearing my ACL, MCL, etc.. I had a good senior season though and my team played in the CIF semi-final with me as the starting sweeper (see The Signal newspaper press release available on this site). We lost :( , but I did score from a free kick at about 35 yards out. It was the only goal that team gave up during their playoff run.
I am currently going to school at Moorpark College, contemplating a career in animal care. I still play recreational soccer (indoor) and am possibly considering a return to the pitch for a Christian University if they will have me to help pay for tuition.
Thank for the taking the time to review my profile,
Sincerely,
Desirae Dodson / SCCS class of 2014 / currently enrolled at Moorpark College
