as a child, I grew up with a family that was always supportive of my decisions. So the thought of disappointing them wasn’t an option, this honestly pushed me to my limits and made me work harder for them. I wasn’t truely influences by anyone to play soccer it was kind of a decision as a kid. That “decision” would be the wisest thing I would ever choose, I put my heart and effort into this game just trying to improve. Of course some characteristics I had already helped me improve, my speed and endurance always helps me during a game. Skill and technique came with lots of hard working hours of training. As the game soon became more intense and frequently I decided to move to club, well I was scouted for club by 3 different teams. I played with all three just to try it out and see which team would help me gain skills and could also work with my standards. My standards being a hard working team, serious, and always encouraged. Growing up and moving to highschool made me a lot more nervous because I am going to steele canyon highschool which is known for soccer, making jv freshmen year but getting pulled up to varsity was an incredible experience and exposed me to bigger things such as universities and local collages. Now I am currently looking for colleges to play soccer for, as a freshmen this is very intense but knowing I have a few more years to fix my imperfections for the game Is also exciting. I feel more prepared now then I might be as maybe a junior. I’m hoping the NCSA program will expose me to more options that will prepare me for the top schools.
