Bianca Calzontzi '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Bianca Calzontzi, i'm currently a High School student. I'm a senior that will be graduating this year 2021. Soccer is my passion, I've been playing it all my life, since I was 8 years old. I've been playing club all my life as well. Not only that but starting my High School year as a freshman, I made the Varsity team for my school which was pretty exciting for me. I've also had the chance to be in ODP (Olympic Development Program). Soccer is a huge deal to me, I love playing it but I also want to go for with it. After High School I definitely want to go to college where I can continue my career as a soccer athlete. I also love animals which is why I want to look for a college that has Pre-Veterinary because that is something I really want to major in. I believe that being athlete isn't just always about how good you are on the field but also how good you are outside of the field, like academically. During both my Junior and Senior year I've really tried hard to maintain good grades for myself and for soccer. In both years I've had grades of A's and B's and maintained a GPA of 3.2 and higher  per quarter. I also received the reward of Honor Roll in both my years for my academic achievement. What I'm looking for in college is that in can be a school where I feel safe and comfortable, a place where I can advance in not only athletically but also academically. I love being close to home but I also love to explore and travel and try new things, so if the college that I think best fits me is outside of state I would definitely take the opportunity.
