Kayla Kirchoffner '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Kayla Kirchoffner and I'm a 5'11" athletic 2024 goalkeeper. I play for my Varsity team at Erie High School and for my club’s GA team, Broomfield 06 Girls Academy. In 21/22 I played on the Colorado ODP state team and was invited to the West Region camp and to represent the West at Inter regionals. I have set goals for myself and work hard every day to reach them. Challenges in soccer and having composure on the field make me more confident for the challenges I face outside of soccer, such as in school. I have high expectations for myself and I push myself to continue to achieve my goals on the field and in the classroom. While I am not studying or playing soccer I love to be outside exploring my home state of Colorado. I also participate in competitive swim in the off season. I am grateful for my family and friends who support me and push me to get better every single day and I am looking forward to continuing to grow as a player. 

As a keeper playing in an extremely competitive environment it's critical that I'm always focused and always working hard to improve my skills. Technically I'm very sound with my ball handling skills - hands and playing/distributing with my feet.  I make very good use of my 18 and am confident/comfortable in accurate distribution to my teammates when playing out of the back or quickly on the counter attack.  I'm a strong shot stopper and excel in one v. one situations. I am a strong leader on and off the field, well liked and very coachable.
