Kylah Celayeta '23 Recruiting Profile

My goal throughout my sports career is to grow in discipline and character.  I believe if I can focus on these two aspects, I will excel in life.  I believe I am a great candidate for your team because of my unmatched size with speed and technical ability.  I am a multi sport athlete competing in Track and Volleyball.  I started Varsity as a middle my Freshman year in high school.  I was unable to compete in Track my Freshman year due to Covid-19 but was planning on running in the open 100, 200, and 100m hurdles.  In these events I set school records in middle school and had the same goals in high school.  With my height being 5'11", players on the soccer field underestimate my speed with technical abilities and that's when I am able to defeat my opponent.

For most of my soccer career I have played with older age groups.  This is due to my work ethic, attitude and determination.  I have always strived to compete at the top level and with these attributes I have been chosen as team captain among my peers.  I believe respect is earned and not given and this has given me the qualities to be a great team leader.
