Hi! My name is Ellie Duncan and I have been in love with this sport since I was about 3 years old. As an athlete I find myself to be coachable, hard working, always having fun (unless I’m not), and I think most importantly, a good leader. I tend to be comfortable giving constructive criticism, but also I love cheering on my teammates and praising them for every little thing done well. On the field, as a midfielder, I have a good awareness of my surroundings, finding seam balls, slowing the game down and speeding it up when necessary, physicality, and also technical turns with heavy pressure. I really enjoy possession based soccer and that is the setting I most definitely thrive in. When considering colleges to attend and teams to play for I am most attentive to the team atmosphere over anything else. I want a place with a strong family culture, with good people that support me and my goals as a student and athlete. I also love the outdoors. My family raised me in the mountains, on rivers, on lakes, on dirt trails, and in canyons and I believe the challenges they placed in front of me in the outdoors is what has made me the strong woman I am and am continuing to pursue to be. I am in love with the stars, sunsets, sunrises, and the smell of rain and although that might not be something you really needed to know, you will understand, if you get to know me, that when these things happen I am like a child with a two scoop sundae and they genuinely keep me the happy bubbly person I am. Thank you so much for reading this far and taking an interest in me. I hope I will be a good fit for your school and if not that's ok too. Have an amazing day!
