Josie Sola '23 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5'8'' central midfielder and outside forward/mid. I play for the Colorado Rapids Soccer Club. I am currently on  5 different soccer teams.  I play up in age for two of the five.  I am honored to have been selected and placed on the Rapids 05 EDS travel team, the ODP 05 travel team and the 03/04 Showcase Combo Team.  My club team in the fall of 2021 was the Colorado Rapids 03/04 Select team. I am a Junior at Lutheran High School and I am a starter for the Varsity Soccer Team as well. I am proud that I manage and enjoy being apart of multiple teams and have a vigorous training schedule.  

Last summer of 2021, I tried out for the ODP, Colorado Select Team. Following tryouts I made the pool of 55 players and out of the pool I was selected into the top 18, which is the travel team. I am honored to represent the top 05G players in the state of Colorado. I am an extremely hard worker in school and on the field. I have maintained a 4.14 GPA throughout my almost three years at Lutheran High School.

My greatest strengths as a player are my abilities to play under pressure, see the field, and make the best decisions possible. I am strong at shooting from the top of the box and I have great footwork inside tight spaces. My goal is to play college soccer at the highest level possible where I can do everything in my power to help the team succeed. I am an extremely goal-oriented and determined individual. I will put in the hard work and effort needed to achieve my dreams.
