I just don't play soccer, I am a soccer player. I have been playing since the age of four and have never lost my love of the game. Going into my junior year in high school my coaches and teammates would describe me as a tenacious, technical, and creative player. On my ECNL club team, I play as a wingback in a 3-5-2 formation. I feel like I thrive in this position because have the ability to play box to box, stay connected to my midfield, and use my soccer IQ to anticipate the play. On my high school team, I play center forward or center attacking mid, this gives me the ability to distribute the ball and be a play maker. I always give 110% to everything I do and I believe this sets me apart from other possible commits. This is also a large component of my leadership style because I lead by example and have a team first mentality. I also strongly believe in working when no one is watching, this is why I try to get touches on the ball everyday.
From attending one of the top 10 public schools in the state of Connecticut, I have learned that athletics can only get me so far. This is why I look for a rigorous university that will push me to reach my full potential. I hope to pursue a degree in history with a minor in psychology, then make my way to law school.
