I am currently a junior at Sacred Heart Greenwich in CT and have been fortunate enough to be part of the school's varsity soccer team since freshman year as a center defensive starter. I also play on CFC South Premier in the off-season to continue to develop my skills and improve my fitness levels. I also participate in my school's varsity track and field team and have won several awards for speed and agility. One of the greatest aspects of soccer for me is the ability to constantly learn and work hard to apply what has been taught. I also love the team camaraderie where I always bring a positive and supportive attitude to the field. In school, I am enrolled in many honors and AP classes and have enrolled in both coding classes and a science research elective to gain more knowledge in the two areas which most interest me and in which I hope to major in during my college years. I also feel it is important to contribute to other organizations and have been involved in Abilis which is an organization focused on helping adults with disabilities as well as in my school's admissions program whereby I am one of several students who provide tours to potential incoming students. I believe I would be a good candidate for your team because I am a dedicated team player, extremely hard working and self motivated and am always willing to put forth the effort necessary to develop into the best athlete I can be. Because soccer is one of the most important aspects of my life, I hope to be able to further grow in the sport and play at the collegiate level while pursuing majors in science and technology.
