My name is Madeline Combs. I'm 17 years old and attend IMG Academy for soccer. I play for the U19 Elite girls and U19 Premier girls as a dual-rostered player. Over the past few years I've played center back, full back, and the six, spending most of my time at center back. I hold a 4.46 GPA through my junior year and participate in all honors and AP classes. Over time I’ve become more and more serious about soccer and then, within the last year, I realized I really wanted to play soccer at a competitive college level at a strong academic school. This is what brought me to IMG Academy.
I was recruited by IMG during a summer camp, in August of this year, and immediately realized this was my opportunity. I now have all the tools I need to help me refine my potential into a competitive college athlete.
When I was younger I wasn’t all that serious about soccer but over time, after seeing teammates and friends step-up their games and surpass me, my mindset switched. I wanted to be better. I fell in love with the game and it has become my life. I want to make my dream of playing highly competitive soccer a reality. I’d be interested in speaking with you about your program.
