I was seven years old when I attended one of my friend’s co-ed recreational soccer games. I looked at my parents and stated “I want to play soccer” and I have been playing ever since. Soccer is more than a game; it has taught me leadership, problem solving, team building and confidence – all of which have been transferable to my studies in school. I have a unique ability to get a pass across the field; spot on corner kicks and a DO NOT give up attitude. My motto is “You get what you put into it”. I am looking for a college that will not only gain from my abilities, but will assist in adding to mine on and off the field. I would love to play professional women’s soccer after college, as well as earn a successful career in the field of Science (Biology/Chemistry).
