Any recruit can give a list of adjectives that describes them. What I can give is results paired with my dedication and commitment to playing soccer. Throughout my career, I have been ranked high in coachability and listening to what others have to say. My goal for soccer is to attend a prestigious NCAA Division I University and to be able to play at the highest possible level, putting forth maximum performance in each game that I play. I have trained day in and day out for the opportunity to play in college, and because of finanicial difficulties, the only way I will be able to play is through recruitment. This situation does not impair my ability to play, rather, it pushes me harder than most girls on the pitch, giving me that extra drive to go further.
I live in a single family household with my mom and two siblings, working on my academics, playing soccer, cooking and cleaning for my family. I get up in the morning and attend 4 AP classes, then come home to do homework and cook. After that, I get ready for practice, and when I come home, I finish whatever work I have left. That is a typical day for me, and I only get through it by organizing my time and not procrastinating. I am a good candidate for a profusion of universities because of my ability to rise above adversities and obstacles. In the beginning of my sophomore year of high school, I got an ACL and meniscus tear in my left knee. The doctors told me it was one of the rare cases, with extreme tearing. That, however, didn't stop me from training to get back out on the field and to score the game winning goal in the District Semi-Finals for Miami Palmetto Senior High, taking my school onto the finals and further onto Regionals. I take a challenge rather than run from it. These situations push me to work harder on the field, and that is why I strive to be the best, because where I come from, nothing less is expected.
