Ana Fernandez '23 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Ana Fernandez. I am a junior at St Brendan High School in Miami Florida. 

I am a three year starter on my varsity soccer team.Aside from the challenges soccer provides me, I also like to challenge myself academically. continue to take the most challenging courses offered at my school. I am part of Key Club, Sabres Against Cancer, Pre-Med Club, Athletic Training club, and I am also in the Medical Academy. Sports medicine interests me and it is on my list for possible majors when I get into college, along with Biology and Psychology.

I have been playing soccer since I was about 5 years old. I danced as well until I realized that soccer was for me. I started out playing forward at my first club and have moved around the field playing different positions. The last four years I have spent learning a new position playing in the back on defense. I am still working and learning every day and solidifying the relationship with my back line. I am very excited for the challenges I will get to face this year.
