Soccer has been my happy place for basically my whole life. I started playing at four, and I have dreamed of going pro for as long as I can remember. In order to be able to play soccer at that level, one of the most important steps is getting to play at the college level.
I have been commended for my work ethic, coachability, and good attitude on and off the field, and I make time to train at home to make sure I keep up my strength as well the technical skills that I do not work on at club practice. I am a starter at both my club and varsity high school soccer teams, and a top runner at my school's varsity cross-country team, which I do to maintain good fitness and stamina.
Aside from working hard in soccer, I have also put a lot of time into my academic career. I focus on making sure that I am a well-rounded student. I have maintained straight A's in all my classes to maintain a high GPA. I also have done a lot of volunteer work, including helping as an assistant coach at a local soccer club and starting a free soccer camp for younger kids in the past years.
I believe I would make a great addition to a college team, and it will be a great opportunity for me to challenge myself alongside people who have the same goals and aspirations as me. I am looking forward to all opportunities that come my way.
