If I had to pick one word for myself, it might be passionate. I've been homeschooled all my life, except for a semester in 3rd grade and a semester in 6th grade magnet program. I feel like l've had to work hard for a lot of my education because my life and education plan wasn't laid out in detail for me every day like public schoolers. I credit my parents for teaching me life skills that many of my peers seem to be lacking. Through all the stress I encounter in life, I've given myself soccer to turn too. I've been playing soccer for 10 years but really started taking my soccer and health the past 3 years. I decided to really look into my future career path with soccer. I've been blessed with some of the best coaches over the years, that have taught me about more than just kicking a ball around the field. They'd all agree with, "Education comes first". I've had to run more miles than I can count because my coaches weren't happy about my progress in a certain subject however, that instilled a level of respect, diligence, perseverance and responsibility for my education. After I lost my little brother in May of 2020, I realized the importance of of family and value their opinion over friends. I've had to learn to choose which friends are family so I'm selective of the people I surround myself so I have the best support to achieve my current goals. I realized that time is taken for granted and I work hard to help others my age to understand that as well.
