Haley Rizzo '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Haley Rizzo.  I am a Senior at Timber Creek High School in Orlando, Florida.  I completed Honors English, Honors World History, as well as Honors Biology during my Freshman year, 4 honors courses as well as AP Psychology as a Sophomore,  3 honors courses and AP American History and currently enrolled in 3 honors courses and 1 AP course.  I work hard to excel in school and maintain good grades.  I started my Freshman soccer season on the Junior Varsity team and was moved up to Varsity for the last five games as well as the playoffs for the 2016-17 season.  I am now a starter on the Varsity team.  In addition, I play club soccer for the Florida Kraze Krush on the 2002 NPL team.   My coaches all agree that I am a coachable player and give 100% during training as well as in every match.  I would be an asset for a college team because I am a team first player,  a good listener and a technically sound player.  I possess good field vision which allows me to impact a game and make the players around me better.  I am a team leader and respect the game.  I take pride in being loyal, making responsible decisions, and being respectful in school as well as on the soccer field.   My goals as a college student/athlete include contributing to the team and being a team leader.  In addition to excelling on the soccer field, I want to be successful in the classroom pursuing a degree in Athletic Training/Exercise Science.  My passion, dedication and focus will allow me to meet and exceed these goals on and off the field.   I also enjoy volunteering through my soccer club with the T.O.P.S Soccer program.  The Outreach Program for Soccer is sponsored by the US Youth Soccer Association and serves athletes with disabilities.  This program allows me to share my passion with players of all ages and abilities.  I enjoy being a leader on the field and helping players learn the game of soccer.

Timber Creek High School Varsity is ranked annually in the top 20 in Class 5A.  My club team- Florida Kraze Krush '02 NPL participates in multiple tournaments throughout the year including the Disney Qualifier, Showcase and Memorial Day, CASL, National Premier League (NPL) and the Jefferson Cup.  We will also be playing in the Alliance Cup which is sponsored by GPS and FKK.  Our league play is the NPL- National Premier League and we are registered to play in the Florida State Cup through FYSA.  I am also a member of the 2001-2002 Girls FYSA ODP team and  trained this summer at the University of Montevallo for the Region III camp July 17-21, 2018.  The competition level of my high school and club team as well as the ODP team allows me to play against the best competition and preparing me for the collegiate level.  In addition, I have just received my grade 8 referee certification and will use this experience to understand the game better and it will also allow me to see the field from a different point of view.
