“Morgan can play Forward, Midfield, Wing, or Fullback and is known as a very versatile unselfish player. She has good vision and sees the field well setting up teammates for easy chances with accurate passes. She is comfortable on the Left or Right side and has no problems stepping up for PK, Corner Kicks, or Free Kicks if needed. She is a strong player who is hard to knock off the ball and has very deceptive speed and is always one of the fastest players on the field when she has a chance to open up. Morgan has a good work rate and is a great communicator that helps organize and direct teammates when needed. She can play and compete with the best. Morgan would bring value to any team she is on.”
Morgan Goldman enrolled at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School with the class of 2024. She plays on the Lady Eagles Varsity Soccer team as well as Varsity for the Flag Football team. She has been varsity in both sports since Freshman seasons, and is 3 time captain of the Flag Football team, leading them to their 1st playoff birth in school history. in 2022 Morgan was 3rd in the state in tackles per game and led all sophmores. She is also the class of 2024 Vice President.
The Soccer team is a constant winner as well and has been a 3 time district champion, 2 time participant in the Semi - Finals (Elite 8) for the Class 7A state Tournament, and a 1 time Regioanl Champion and particpiatnt in the State Semi Finals. Morgan has 4 goals and 10 assists while playing primarily defensive midfield.
Before High School, Morgan was a 3-year starter and 2-year captain for Coral Springs Middle School scoring over 30 goals and 30 assists in her storied career, helping the team reach the playoffs each season. She was voted Athlete of the year in 8th grade. She decided to give back to the program that started it all for her and volunteered to be an assistant coach for the team during her years in HS.
Morgan also started for 3 years and was also 2-year captain for Coral Springs Middle Flag Football, leading them to the playoffs in 2 of 3 seasons including a Broward County final 4 berth during her Freshman season.
She also played 1 year of basketball before giving it up to concentate on soccer.
Morgan is a straight "A" student, holds a 4.65 GPA for High School, and is a member of the Honor Society.
Morgan also was the winner of the 2022 Parkland Flag Football Scholorship award to a student who excels both on the field and in the community.
Morgan gives back to her communnity and has voulunteerd to coach the middle school soccer and football teams and and helped start the Parkland Girls Turkey Bowl, which raises money each year for Joe Dimaggio Childrens Hospitol in honor of her best friend Emma who passed away in 2020.
Morgan looks forward to playing soccer in college and continuing her storied career.
