I fell in love with soccer as soon as I touched the ball. I enjoy the competition while also playing fair. I play soccer now to build myself as a person through discipline and owning mistakes. I also play to make more friends with people of similar interests. I love to take team bonding trips with my teammates to learn more about each other at the beginning of the season. I am on multiple recruiting websites to be on the radar for the colleges I am currently interested in. I always strive to work harder and do better than before, even if it means I go to a park to practice alone with a ball and a goal. As a soccer player, teammate, and human, I am someone who has a tremendous work ethic and can mesh well with anyone I play with. I have guest played with numerous teams because I can get along with other players so easily. I also have a great understanding of the game and can anticipate where the ball will be. I want to pursue a marine biology path and playing soccer can help me get into the colleges preferred. Playing soccer in college could also give me a set schedule and a break from studies, which I use now also. Having the new teammates could help me adjust to college a little easier than I would alone. Soccer has been with me throughout my life, and I hope to continue to play as I get older.
