Growing up in a household full of athletes that have either played a sport or is playing one currently, is a blessing. Which made my decision to play a sport for myself so much easier. This positive influence in my life caused me to strive harder for things that seem out of reach. My family is very important to me because they sacrifice things so I can play the sport I love. Especially my parents, they take me to my games and try to support my decisions on and off the field. Ever sense I was born they have helped me, whether they knew it or not. My sister is the one who helped me fall in love with soccer and its ideas. She started playing when she was young just like me at the age of 4 years old. We both played and it was a great experience for both of us but soon she started to dislike soccer and quit playing when she was 13 years old. Which was unfortunate because I had gained so much interest in the sport. On the other hand I feel like that's the complete opposite for me because giving up this sport would leave me feeling like there is something missing inside. As of now I am playing on the RPL team for SAF ( Southern Alliance Futbol) in Warner Robins.
Academically I have strived for being an Honor student my whole high school career. Which as of now I have three years of Honors heading into my fourth year at Veterans High School. My parents push me to only bring home all A's in every class I take, but not only them but myself included. Which isn't easy when obstacles with my family appear at important parts of my high school career. My mom is sick and the disease she possess has caused problems but I have overcome them by staying strong and helping out more at home. And soccer has been my outlet when nothing else was there for me. As well as the Chorus and Drama Programs at my school. Lastly i play a part in the Beta Club which is something i try to do to volunteer to help community projects or projects at school through the Beta Club program. I'm a very unique individual that wants to exceed in my biggest goal of all, which is to play the sport I love until I can't play it anymore.
