Ava Raye Knight '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Ava Raye Knight and I am from Acworth, GA. I attend Harrison High School and play for Southern Soccer Academy 07 DPL. One thing about me is I know how to overcome adversity and persevere through it in all aspects in life but especially soccer. I have played soccer since I was 3 years old and haven't stopped loving it since, even if others get in the way of my enjoyment and passion towards the sport. I haven't always made the teams in the past I've wanted to and at points I haven't loved soccer as much because of that, but when I am faced with adversity, or simply not making a team I always push through and ask myself how I can get better and correct the mistakes I made to make the team the following year. Helping me learn all about self-awareness, self-improvement, coachability, and character building. I am also very involved with my school and I am in 7 clubs including National Honors Society, Beta Club, etc. I maintain, and earn grades in Honors and AP classes that help me achieve a 4.0 GPA off the field. On the field I am strategic, analytical and encouraging towards my teammates. I aspire to find a school that suits me for both academics and athletics, and has well-rounded community. I believe I am well suited for all college programs due to my coachability, strategic and analytical thinking, and ability to motivate others.
