My name is Madison Sealy or Mads for short. I am a 2023 graduate for Lee County High School in Leesburg, Georgia. I play as a right back for both my high school varsity team and my travel team.
Playing soccer at a college level has always been a huge goal of mine since I first started the sport. I hope to find a school that will push me to the best of my abilities in sports and academics, and has a team that will always keep me on my toes and work with me to help me become a more beneficial player for the team. Academically, I am shooting to major in Criminal Justice in hopes to continue my desired career as a Criminal Investigator, however teaching is also an option.
I first started playing soccer when I was 7 years old after watching my sister play one of her games at the YMCA and found a sudden interest for the game. My soccer career became extremely serious and important to me in middle school after making the middle school team, so I started playing for my current travel team, United Futbol Academy or UFA, in 2017. As my freshman season of high school rolled around, I made sure to go to as many camps and trainings that my high school and travel team put on as I could. I ended up making my varsity high school team, the Lee County Trojans, as a freshman and I have been on the varsity team ever since. During the off season I still continue to stay dedicated and push myself so I can improve and become a more beneficial player to my teams. I work hard both on and off the field and take practices just as seriously as games because I was always told to practice how I play, but I make sure to have fun while doing it. Last year my travel team got invited to participate in a Georgia State Cup to play against many talented teams and we had no intentions of winning or even placing, however we ended up 2nd in the state. I continue to attend as many trainings and camps as I can and work very hard in the off season.
