Katelyn Perazzola '24 Recruiting Profile

I am a fast and physical center defender from Warner Robins, GA. I am a junior (class of 2024) at Mount de Sales Academy in Macon, GA where I have started on the varsity soccer team for 2 seasons and am a member of the varsity track team having won third in state in the 4x100 relay and sixth in state in the 4x200 relay. My club team is the Legion FC 2006 GPL girls which just finished the fall 2022 season undefeated in GPL (6 shutouts; only 6 goals  allowed in the 10 game season, plus 1 PK) and have earned a birth to the National Premier League (NPL). We are also competing in the State Cup in the final four. I currently have a 3.73 GPA and have plans to take the SAT and ACT in the spring.

I am looking for an institution in a city/town environment where I can pursue a degree in education (with aspirations of becoming a high school teacher) while playing soccer at the collegiate level. I would prefer to attend a school in the south (due to proximity to family), but am open to attending in the Northeast and Midwest as well. I am also open to attending HBCU and military schools. Ideally, I would like to join a team where I can use my strengths of speed, physicality, decision making, and emphasis on teamwork to make an impact and continue to develop as a player in the game that I love.
