My goal is to play collegiate soccer, while studying to receive my degree in Environmental Engineering. I am a hard worker and have a high work rate. I tore my ACL in July 2017. I had reconstructive surgery in August 2017 and worked hard in PT and Strength training. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to gain back full extension or strength. I had two subsequent knee surgeries to remove scar tissue (4/2018 and 11/2018) and I have worked tirelessly and have fortunately gained back extension and tremendous strength. During the 1.5 years of battling back, I learned a lot about my character and my love of the game. Not only am I motivated to play at the highest competitive level I can, I am skilled in techniques defensively, such as heading, slide tackling, shielding and 1v1 defending. I am able to play with both my right and left foot. I am intense and able to concentrate at a high level. I am able to read the game very well and anticipate incoming passes and receive them before the target player is able to. I have strong leadership skills on and off the field and love to support my teammates and players, especially when the going gets tough.
