At the age of 4, as soon as I touched a soccer ball for the first time, I fell in love with the beautiful game of soccer. Not only do I enjoy learning new skills that I can incorporate into my playing style from my coaches, but I uncharacteristically love going to school every morning to learn things I've never known before. My desire to learn has helped me acquire an unweighted cumulative 3.8 GPA. I've chosen to follow my club coach, Aaron Buck, for most of my youth career because he has always been the person to push me to my limits and push me to make myself an overall better player. I'm very adaptable to change so if there's a position you need me to play and I haven't played it in a while, I will research and practice until I can perform that position as if i'd been playing it my whole life. Along with playing soccer, I love to watch it too. I intensely watch every Serie A, Premier League, and La Liga game not only for entertainment, but to watch how professional athletes interpret the game and I try to incorporate what they do into my playing style.
During a high school practice in early 2019, my knee twisted and I fell to the ground. I limped, but I didn't think I injured anything major. However, later that night I found out I tore my ACL. My life was put on pause and I didn't know what to do anymore. Since my surgery, I used my desire to play at my best and get back on the field again as fuel for recovering, getting stronger, and getting back in shape. I go to the gym everyday so i'll be back to playing what I love. My dream has always been to continue playing the game that makes me happy and I would be absolutely grateful to be given any opportunity to play at the next level and would give 110% every second I’m on and off the field because I know how everything can be taken away from you just by a simple nudge to the ground.
