Hi, My name is Sarah Castaneda and I am a Senior (class of 2024) at West Hall High School in Oakwood, Georgia. I've been playing soccer for 6 years now, and it's been an amazing journey so far. While most girls in this sport start at a young age, I began playing at the age of 12 and fell in love with the game. Despite being a late bloomer, my coach saw potential in me and I spent a considerable amount of time practicing and pushing myself to become a better player and competitor. My ultimate goal is to enter college and major in communications with a minor in business. My dream job is to become a communications liaison or an immigration attorney. Soccer has taught me valuable lessons, such as self-assurance on and off the field. Through this sport, I have gained a deeper understanding of myself, which has made me more diligent, dedicated, and eager to take on new challenges.
