I want to play soccer at the collegiate level and continue to develop to be the best player I can be. My ultimate goal is to win championships. After winning my first state championship as a junior at North Gwinnett High School vs. Lambert I have grown both mentally and physically as a player. It has made me more driven to outwork my competition. I want nothing more than to spend the next four years in college playing on a soccer field, and making a family environment just like my high school team has been to me. Relationships are the most important part of soccer to me because without them comes no wins, titles, or championships.
Being a later bloomer has taught me that dreams and goals are possible, but they take a tremendous amount of perseverance. Once you think you're better than you are, the person next to you is beating you out of your position. And that is exactly what I have done by working and working and working until I'm better than I was the game or practice before.
There have been many trials, but I am proud to say that I made both the All County Second Team and the First Team as a midfielder for Gwinnett County 2019 spring season. I also was named one of the three captains of my team as a junior. It was an honor to be seen as a leader by my teammates and I worked to create a positive culture where we uplifted each other in both our best moments and also our worst.
College soccer will be bigger than anything I've ever been a part of and I hope to continue that journey somewhere amazing!
